1. Event Basics

What is the One Run?

The One Run is a fan favorite 5k run/1k walk. This is much more than just a race; it's a community celebration where every step makes a difference for individuals and families impacted by all types of cancer right here in North Texas.

When and where is the event?

Who does the event benefit?

The One Run benefits Cancer Support Community North Texas. CSCNT provides a welcoming place where cancer patients, survivors, their caretakers and loved ones can join others for emotional and social support -- an essential complement to medical care -- all at no cost. We provide support groups, individual counseling, healthy living and experiential art workshops, fun social events, educational presentations, a kids' support program, and resources and referrals.

2. Registration

How do I register?

Click the register button, create an account (if you don't have one already), fill out the information, pay a registration fee, and if you want, complete a fundraising page.

Do I have to register in order to participate in the 5k?

Yes, everyone who wants to participate in the 5k must register and pay the $35 registration fee.

What does my registration include?

You will receive a One Run T-shirt, race bib, medal, and pre-race snacks with your registration.

3. Teams & Fundraising

Can I create or join a team?

Yes! Teams are formed during registration to encourage camaraderie and to unite for the cause. When you register, you will be asked if you want to create a team and will be given instructions to set up your team page. To join an existing team, please go to "Find Someone's Page" and search for the team name, then you will click "Register" to become a member of that team.

Do I have to fundraise to participate?

Fundraising is completely optional but encouraged.

How can I share my fundraising page?

You will create a personalized fundraising page when you register. You can share your fundraising page link with your friends, family, coworkers, etc. and they can help your team by making a donation. You are encouraged to post on social media about your participation in the One Run and invite others to support your fundraising efforts and sign up for the race themselves. The more you share the better!

4. Event Day Details

What time should I arrive?

Registration opens at 8:00 am, and the 5k will start at 9:00 am, so please arrive in time to park, register, and stretch before the race.

Where do I pick up my race packet?

You will pick up your race bib and T-shirt at the check-in tent the morning of the race.

Is the event timed?

Yes, this is a timed race, but take it at your own pace. This is a fun race for everyone at all levels.

5. Parking & Directions

Where should I park?

Parking is located in the West Lot of Watermark Church (7540 Lyndon B. Johnson Fwy. Dallas, TX 75251).

Once parked, you will use the crosswalk to cross Park Central Dr. and arrive at Anderson Bonner Park, where the race start will be located.

6. Donations

Can I donate without participating in the run?

Yes, you can support any of our teams, or you can make a donation on the One Run homepage.

If I donate or sign up to support a team, does that mean I am registered for the race?

No, you must register to participate in the race.
